Isaac Newton and falling Apple on Google search USA

Isaac Newton logo Google
Google is celebrating the birthday of Sir Isaac Newton by putting a falling Apple on their logo today. See my Isaac Newton post I posted previously for more information. The logo you see on the Google homepage  is also known as a Google Doodle, and Google makes it whenever they want to celebrate a special day. Hovering over the Google logo will show the text “Birthday of Sir Isaac Newton”.

In my previous post the logo only appeared on Google.co.uk, and some other international Google sites but now it’s on Google.com in the US as well. Google is also showing real-time results for people talking about Isaac Newton in their search results.

Nice effect although the fallen apple does partially obscure a link (for “business solutions”).

The Google homepage seems to be becoming more cluttered, slower to use and less accessible each week at the moment.
