iPad is a disappointment
The iPad which Apple announced today has caused disappointment to many. Why did the iPad cause iDisappointment to people? Well, that’s because the iPad is missing the following features:
- iPad Camera – There isn’t any camera at all. None in the FRONT or BACK!
- iPad Flash – There is no flash support because Apple won’t approve Flashplayer.
- iPad Multi-tasking – There is absolutely no multi-tasking. This is unacceptable for a Tablet that starts at a $499 price-point.
- iPad USB ports – There is no USB ports, so you can’t plug in your USB drive to transfer photos to it.

No you can’t because the iPad is not pressure sensitive. A stylus will just allow you not to use your fingers. That’s all
You need a modbook!! It’s a modification for the macbooks that’s what I’m going to do since this iPad ended up being nothing then a extra large iTouch
For this iPad thing is the web browsing going to be in mobile like the iphone or like a laptop. Also can you connect a mouse since you can connect a keyboard. Will the 3G cost everymonth or just the 1 time fee.

It is more like a laptop and no you cannot connect a mouse so far but im sure it will come soon. Also the 3g is a monthly cost.
and what about the GPS?
For me is jus a big iphone and I think that the same for a lot of people just with a bigger screen (for handycapped as me!!) It have a stereo speakers? GPS? external HD at least! We do not hope to buy this first revision of this ipad and then Apple reclace it in a year or less with other features…. definitevely it does not have a web cam, will be cool this feature!!
Also what about the voice command of the 3GS?? good feature but missed in this “new and revolutionary device” I think Apple gives one step forward and two steps back, Do you think so?

When did you freaks get so knowledgeable about design. I don’t want any of those jacks screwin up the lines on the sexy device.
Do your research and find out that there are connectors for USB…a Camera…Card reader (USB)…external memory…VGA monitor…

It’s a piece of crap and the worst part is, Apple will add all of this with the next version at a lower price. Apple screwed this one up big time. I like Apple products, but by accepting crap like this, we are making Apple richer and telling them that it is ok to do stuff like this.
Listen, technology has evolve and the price of CPU’s, Chips, Memory and HDD, have come down in price. It probable only costs Apple $150 to make this piece of crap and then they go out and sell it for 500 and up. You deserve more then what they have to offer for that price. All Apple products are now PC’s with the Apple OS running on it. Open one up, take a look at the Hardware and you will see.
In the end you are paying for the OS and the support, with an Arm, a Leg and Your B@lls.

the only thing he cares about, is getting rich off us, by making us pay for minor upgrades every year.
I know many people that have PC’s running Mac OS on it, PC’s at half the cost and with more blows and whistles.
And about the flash issue, do you think you is fair that you buy a device that belongs to you, but you can’t add stuff to it, because some one tells you not to. It’s like going to BK and buying a Whopper and you can’t have cheese, because BK said so. Dammit it is my Burger and I want it my way!

As for the transferring of pictures, there is an attachment of sorts that can connect to a USB or (separate attachment) media card.
Even with that bit of redemption, I too, am disappointed. Very.
I’ve read many reviews and one thing that bothers me is the design. The underside has a curve to it so it would be very hard to type with it on a flat surface such as a table.
I find it very annoying how the built in camera and usb ports were not included, instead Apple is attempting to get customers to buy these add-ons if you will.
As mentioned earlier a more improved version will be released soon anyway so I’ll just wait until then.
Well the iPad is simply a bigger iphone/iphone 3G. It has saame capabilities and more. if you ever dreamed of something smaller than a netbook, with touch screen and fuze together with the iPhone capabilities, there you go. Is not considered a PC like others, although it has Computer/Personal Computer features, it lacks of some, may be much of them. It is ironic that this cost even less than an iphone 3Gs (when was first sale) , it seems that little things sells more expensive than bigger things lol! Well that’s just my perspective :), I know I would’t buy this “iPad” cuz lacks so many stuff we would like that it had. I would rather buy the “HP Stale” only because comes with a full fledge and powerful ‘MULTITASKING’ OS that everyone loves; Windows 7. Also, the new MSi 10 inch screen portable tablet, is a COOL thing that I would like to buy on top of the iPad and HP stale and others PT (portable tablets), even if doesn’t have Windoys 7, it has Android, is good too also have GPU Tegra 2 from Nvidia and a sexy cool Style :) I bet the release price is as much as iPad price of 500 dollars with more features. Well Apple, nice play, but not so nicely done, anyways people will buy it cuz its from Apple, the company that holds the best mobile/Smartphone around, well that’s my opinion from my point of view and knowledge of “Smartphones”.

That is a lie iPad does support flash and has accessories so you can transfer photos from an sd card or usb so that is a total lie.
The iPad is actually a big iPod touch. And it’s a real disappointment. Apple is smart enough( I hope ) to know that blocking the jailbreak and deleting webcam, or not support flash, and all the other stuff that you can accomplish with a jailbroken device would make a hudge deception for all the apple users… Even the price is to high for what the iPad really is. If apple continues to design devices that bad for such a price, it’s going to bankrupt… That’s my opinion. :)

It makes no sense to pay 500 dollars for a device to compete with a Kindle device. This device will fall to the ground at least once every week or two until it fails to boot.
iPhone makes sense because it fits into your pocket. tablets are not practical unless they are unbreakable or shock proof. 500 dollars wasted.

Well, why should we hold it in our hands if apple makes a demonstration…. And I’m practicly shure that apple is going to work a lot more on this device. You don’t need to hold it in your hands to know the features or the none existing features. When you see a laptop, do you need to touch it to know what it does when you have a description next to it ?? I don’t…
