Nexus One, Google Phone mentioned on Android website

Just yesterday we discovered that the phone Google is working on is called the Nexus One and is being manufactured by HTC, and also found a leaked Nexus One picture. The name Nexus One was neither confirmed or denied by Google. Although Google hasn’t said anything, we have found Google mentioning the Nexus One name on their Google website.

If you go to http://www.android.com/holidays you will notice an image with the Welcome to Nexus One screen. Google has placed a script that will automatically take you out of the game if it detects that you are not using the Nexus One phone to access this. If you know how to fake your useragent, you can still access this by changing your useragent to nexus one.  Pictured above are the different Droid pictures that are in the game.

I admit that I had doubts as to whether Nexus One was the real name or the code name, but now I  don’t any more because of seeing Google mentioning it on their website.
