There are probably people who think you look like a freak. I have a hard time believing that you would be laughing if you saw a picture of yourself on a website like this.

I'll never understand why some people have the urge to tear others down all the time. What really cracks me up is that I know many religious people who think this sight is hilarious. What Would Jesus Do?

Actually I believe the legal name is "Wal-Mart", so unless they change their domain name to be peopleofwal-mart.com, they're probably safe.

Actually this website uses "walmart" in their .com domain name. Walmart is obviously trademarked so this website will have legal issues. Walmart can easily claim PeopleOfWalmart.com domain from it's owner.

Hate to tell you this, but as they are in a public location they have no expectation of privacy. The only possible issue would be if their image or likeness were being used for commercial gain.
What this site is doing is perfectly legal, more over its hilarious as will hopefully make someone think about what they are wearing before going out in public.
The only bad I can see coming from this site is that wal-mart management may see some of these photos and actually make stores start enforcing dress policies (which yes they do have, and while amazing lacks, a number of these subjects are in violation of)

E.G. if I go to the park, take a picture of you and blow it up to the size of a billboard and put it in my front yard: there is nothing you can do
If I do this and use your image in an advertising campaign you have recourse.
Photos and the display of them are greatly misunderstood, but let me ask you: When you take vacation photos and show them to your friends/family do you blur or block out the identity of everyone but those that gave you permission to take the photo of them? I am willing to bet if you went back you would find a couple of extra people that are completely identifiable.

hey penny, it's not about poor people, it's about people who look like freaks. plenty of poor people dress well and look presentable in public - they just shop at target instead of wal mart.
