Today, in their It’s only Rock and Roll Event, Apple announced the new iPod Nano 5th generation with a camera. Many rumors were pointing towards the iPod Touch getting a camera but unfortunately it didn’t happen.
The new iPod Nano comes in nine different colors, has a larger 2.2 inch display, has a aluminum polished finish, and is very environment friendly (as Apple Advertised in their event). The 8 GB iPod Nano is $149, while the 16 GB iPod Nano is $179. The new iPod nano also supports 20 VoiceOver languages.
YouTube users will love the new iPod Nano. Recorded videos can be uploaded with just a click. With the iPhone 3GS and now the iPod Nano getting a camera, Apple will dominate mobile uploads on YouTube. What do you think about the new iPod Nano? Will you be buying it? Leave a comment below.

actually there was no iPod touch 3rd gen released, so who knows Apple may be planning on releasing the 3rd gen later on.
Actually I will be buying one…I was going to get my 10 year old either a nice digital camera or a nano…now I can get her both…in pink too, I am sure :-)
