This may be a stupid question but here it goes. I have a 3g version 3.1.2 older phone that I no longer use and wish to unlock to use it with another network; I also have a newer 3GS version 4.0.1 on ATT and associated with my MacBook. When I download the unlocking software to my MacBook for my 3G phone and run iTunes, how is this going to affect or interfered with my 3GS phone? What are the potential risks?
Thanks,
USAGaucho

The problem that i have with my iphone 3g is that it goes into the dfu mode, but it has a problem and itunes brings up a message saying that i cannot restore my iphone, is there a way to bypass that message?

P.S. What is the option button on the keyboard? :S

Thanks
