iPhone MMS not working?

Today AT&T released the iPhone MMS Update for iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users. Is iPhone MMS not working for you? I’ve read comments where people have been saying that MMS is not working for them. I just tried the MMS update on my iPhone 3GS running on iPhone 3.0.1 firmware and the MMS update worked fine for me.
If you have iPhone 3.1 firmware, then follow the enable iPhone 3G/iPhone 3GS MMS update through iTunes guide. If you have iPhone 3.0 or iPhone 3.0.1 firmware then follow the enable MMS on iPhone 3.0 or iPhone 3.0.1 guide.
Feel free to share any MMS problems that you have in the comments below! If you can’t get it to work, you may want to try again later. The most common thing that most people are forgetting to do is reboot! Remember to reboot your iPhone after applying the MMS update and it should work for you.

I just got back from the AT&T store. I tried everything listed to no avail. I had upgraded from a 1st gen and they still had me listed in “snoopers” as a 2G, so they just removed and added my phone back to my plan and it works now.
i have an iphone 3g s running os 3.1 with the updated carrie file and it still doesn’t allow me to send pictures/videos. it always comes up with a red exclamation point. what is wrong? how do i fix this?
I’m having the exact same problem as Ricky. This is so annoying!
haha my name is Ian too! and i am also having the same problem! AAAHHH HELP!
I had the same issues, so, I called AT&T. What finally allowed it to work, was them having me go on my iphone to Settings, General, Reset, then, click on “Reset Network settings”. Your phone will then restart. Once it restarts, and is back to your initial home screen, turn it off for 30 seconds, then back on. MMS started working for me immediately after taking these steps.
Whatdo u mean by carrier mine is 4.0 how do i update that
My carrier is at&t 4.0 how do i update that
if you get an exclamation mark and are unable to mms, contact AT&T and tell then to updated your imei in both of their systems. Since the update, their network reverted back to the original iphone info if you had one on your account. They need to update their system to reflect the new device.

Cindy is right except for one thing. After resetting my Network Settings, mine started working right then and didn’t need to be turned off for 30 seconds.
Thanks Cindy!
THANKS CINDY! My problem is solved!!!
mine was doing the exact same thing, so i just switched the MMS settings to off
left it for about 5 minutes then switched it back on and its working!
i did exactly that and did not have to shut off either and it WORKED thank you ppl for your post I appreciate it!!!
I have t-mobile, if I reset my “network settings” would I have to jailbreak/unlock my phone again?
