The AT&T iPhone MMS Update is still coming today, as AT&T promised us. Our inbox has been flooding with a lot of questions about this update, and how it works. We’ve already answered most of the questions in our posts.
iPhone MMS Update FAQ
1. What is MMS? MMS is basically picture or video messaging.
2. Is MMS Free? Yes it’s 100% free! You won’t get charged for sending any picture or video messages on AT&T.
3. How do I get the iPhone MMS Update? Make sure you download iTunes 9.0.1, and make sure you’re updated to iPhone 3.1 firmware as well. Apple will issue an update through iTunes which will update your carrier settings and allow you to use MMS.
4. When will iPhone MMS be out? It will be out today, some time very soon! AT&T promised it would be at late Pacific time.
5. Does iPhone MMS work on iPhone 2G? No it only works on iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS.
Stay tuned, we’ll post a guide here once AT&T officially releases their iPhone MMS update.
