Whitoken Winterboard theme installation guide
Tired of the default iPod Touch or iPhone theme? Want a nice looking theme for your iPod Touch or iPhone? Get Whitoken! You have to jailbreak to get this theme, but it’s totally worth it. See a screenshot of this theme below. As you can see it looks very nice on the iPod Touch/iPhone. This theme was created by 6mik-design.
In this post I will show you how you can get this theme on your iPod Touch or iPhone.
How to Install Whitoken on your iPod Touch or iPhone
You will need to first jailbreak, then install WinterBoard, and then add additional applications in order to install this theme. I will guide you through the process.
Part 1: Jailbreak and Install Cydia
In this part I will show you how to jailbreak and install Cydia on your iPod Touch/iPhone.
1. Download redsn0w, and check our guide on how to jailbreak your iPod Touch or jailbreak your iPhone.
2. You should see the above Cydia icon on your homescreen. Tap the Cydia icon.
3. When Cydia first launches it will ask you to choose what mode you want to use. Just tap User (Graphical Only). You can go back and change this later if you wish to.
4. Cydia will now check for updates and present you with the above prompt saying something like 2 Essential Upgrades. Tap the “Upgrade Essential” button.
5. Now Cydia will ask you to confirm your selection. Tap the Confirm button in the top right.
6. Cydia will now start updating. Once the update is complete it will show a “Complete” message. You will need to restart Cydia, tap the Close Cydia (Restart) button.

Simply amazing. Took a while to set up properly, but I did not run into any problems (just make sure you reboot after the first SSH session so all the shortcut arrows are there).
Now I just have to maintain the whole thing, make sure I keep things organized every time I install a new app or game. But that’s ok.

I cant seem to make winterboard change my lock screen or battery icon. Nothing seems to be working. Can u Help?
Hey, uhm, yea it dosnt work. When I changed the theam with winterbord, nothing happend. I installed everything ok, I got the 44 blank apps. What am I doing wrong?
How do I take the shortcut arrows off if I dont want the theme anymore?
I have downloaded the WinSCP, but when i go to login it will never let me and says connection refused. What do i need to do to get this to work?
Have you downloaded open ssh from cydia? If so then make sure its turned on :)

how do i make it so that i can get my page links more than once? i have on set of the icons but i can not get 4 of them to put on each page
Im having the same problem with this bit. I can only get the page links (0,1,2,3) on one page. Any advice?

Tap the icon several seconds, and move them to other pages by dragging them one by one.
When you SSH the “shortcuts” you are making new spring jumps. Make sure you have moved the 12 spring jumps into your iPod. =D

vavigate to /private/var/stash/Applications. Copy all the files named _shortcutx_x.app from the Whitoken folder to this directory.
Oops. How do I get there?
i tried this with a 3g ipod touch. it said reboot wen i installed it then it said hook up to itunes and restore i did this several times and it did not get me winterboard. it just made me restore my ipod
hey, just hit the button of the blackra1n when the restore sign show up. It should work… coz I have the same prob…

Upon adding the url, “http://cydia.touch-mania.com/” I got an error stating it
“Did not Find Repository”
“The indicated repository could not be found. Upon downloading the whitoken theme it wouldnt let me exract anything somebody please help???
when i reboot springboard after i put the 0-3 jump icons, in only gives me enough for one page, how do you put more of those icons in the other pages or slides???
I am curently modifiying my theme with a few selfmade icons, and I’ve noticed that the icons on screen get overlapped by the icons on the right, blocking out the name of the icon. How do I fix it.

Cydia just goes to home page randomly while I am downloading these components. It is really annoying.
