Samsung Rogue, not available on Verizon Wireless today!

According to a leaked document that was sent to Phone Arena, the Samsung Rogue was supposed to launch today on Verizon wireless. Of course this is just a rumor, but I still decided to go ahead and check with my Verizon Wireless store. Unfortunately it was not available. I searched the Verizon Wireless website and it didn’t show up there either.
A lot of other Samsung fans were expecting to see the Samsung Rogue today, but it looks like we will need to wait. I’m sure it will launch some time this week. I’ll be keeping an eye on when this phone launches and will update here once it’s out. I’ll also post a Samsung Rogue review as well once it’s released.

Samsung Rogue Specs
The Samsung Rogue has a full QWERTY keyboard, AMOLED screen, 3 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm headset jack, HTML browser, stereo Bluetooth, memory card slot that allows microSDHC cards up to 16 GB in size, and a TouchWiz interface.

Best Buy said today (09.04.2009) that the Samsung Rogue phone will be available for sale on Sept. 8. They have them in stock already. They let me look at it for a minute.

What’s the price going to be?
OKAAAYYYY, ANY Samsung phone that comes out I AM ALL FOR!!!!! I love Samsung phones they have this little area in the contacts section labeled “note”, I can put directions, pass codes, all kinds of stuff in there. And its all in one place. Kool its time for my upgrade…Verizon here I come.
Best Buy by me had one out ready for sale. I went to the Verizon next store and told me that was a no no. Oh well I will wait till midnight tonight when Verizon puts it on the website. Cant wait…
My wife dropped my old Samsung sch-a990 into my dogs water bowl. So…today after doing a bit of finagling I was able to convince my Verizon store to upgrade me and my calling plan. I got the Rogue today….let me tell you that I do love it. I’m a bit upset that it’s advertised as “coming with Resident Evil, Need for Speed, Tetris, and Dice”….well…everything but Dice is a demo. Other than that…I LOVE THIS PHONE!
Just picked up the phone from Verizon corporate store and it is freaking SWEET! I was going to wait till Omnia 2 but in my opinion, it has everything I need to browse, check mails, surf, play, text and call. The screen is gorgeous and the touch screen is pretty nifty. The voice dictation system could use more work but it recognizes 80% of what I say, so that’s a good thing. I got a plastic cover case for mine cuz I’m clumsy with phones. =)
Where did you get the plastic case? I can’t find one anywhere!!
I just got the rogue 2 days ago and I am in love with it! Originally I had the blackberry storm but I hated it. I love this phone! :]
I got the Samsung Rogue four days ago and I love the phone…the only two things I don’t like about the phone though is the battery life isn’t as long as I thought it was. And the games are only demos. But other than that the phone is really awesome!!! I can’t complain the phone is the best one I’ve seen yet since the iPhone!
This might be the best phone in the world, but for those of us who just want a phone, no internet, etc the Verizon EXTRA $9.99 a month Data Pkg. fee is BS…. Another price gouging by Verizon with stupid petty charges. Ther gonvernment needs to look into this type of consumer gouging.
Hi I just ordred it and wanted to know if there are any full games that come withit and what demos come with it. Also are their any hacks for wifi for it?I really wanted wifi but it’s too much for me to pay.

the demo’s are tetris, resident evil, need for speed, and the only full game (which isn’t a game at all) is dice. A funny little widget that lets you shake your phone to shake a pair of dice -paired with the board game yatzee this can be fun.
My wife and I both got rogues yesterday, and I am getting a bit frustrated trying to get my music on it. Do you have to buy all your music from V-cast!@$! or can I use my i-tunes and mp3’s. Also my 50 or so ringtones I bought don’t seem to work either. My pictures transferred fine though, and the interface is pretty cool.
yes you can use your own mp3 if u just put the sd card in the slot. then you go to my music and select options and ther should be a sync music button hit that and it should get all your music o and make sure you put the mp3s in the right folder so the phone looks ther
i love this phone best phone ever i enjoy everthing about it its just the best phone in the world to me at least the screen is gorgeous and everything else is perfect even the battery which really amazed me
ok so i have to a memory stick to put music on my samsung rogue? i cant put it into the internal memory. cuz i just tried that and said sync complete and i looked at my music on the phone and is says no music to play. WTF?!?!?!
Me to I tryed it but I still can seem to have music on it does anybody know how to do this. Because I have seen phone reporters have no problem, And the big problem is that I am really good with computers and I still can get it on.
yeh i cant get my music from my SD card to show up on my phone , and i know for a fact its on there , because when i put it on my old blackberry it shows up fine .
ok so here is how you do it. you take your sd card put it in your pc create a file on your desktop and copy all the files onto that file from the sd card. then put the sd card back in your phone (verify that all you music and ringtones copied to your pc.) then select menu, settings & tools, memory, card memory, format card. then take the sd card out of the phone put it in your pc and open the drive that it list under. you should see files for ringtones and video and music. open the files and transfer the info from the like files from your pc to you sd card. this works for music. I have not got it to work for ringtones. then you put the card back in your phone and go to you memory card again on your phone and open your my music file then goto my music through the main menu you should now have your music on there. once again I have not been able to get this to work for ringtones.
yea. i have the same problem i believe. i even tried scan memory card for new music, but the help says its does not allow you to put music from the computer to the phone using a memory card. I don’t understand why the options would say scan memory card for new music if thats not what it’s used for. Please help?
i love the phone but i have a mac so i cant download music on and i really want too put some of my songs on cause my ipod has broke and this was the only other way but i cant so now i just go on youtube and listen to songs but does anyone kno a way that i can download my music?
