iPod Touch 3rd Generation Photos?
A topic on the WeiPhone forums seems to have leaked pictures of what appears to be the iPod Touch third generation. All I could see in the pictures is the new Camera app icon and a camera on the back of the iPod Touch. Besides that nothing else seems to have changed.
I think Apple will also double the RAM and offer the iPod Touch with more memory as well if or once it comes out in September. Video recording is one of the key features of the iPhone 3GS, will Apple add it to the iPod Touch third generation? Even if they don’t, lots of people will be jailbreaking their iPod Touches to download video recording applications from Cydia.
Update: This is a fake, but there are more pictures of the iPodTouch 3rd gneration and a video from another source which looks real.

reflective dock? no thank you. this is fake.
I doubt it that it is real also. I mean they could have easily added the camera app from the iPhone.

why would a brand new 3G ipod touch appear to be scratched like its been used a lot…

yea im going to call fake, they must have restored with an iphone firmware, looking at the back the camera looks like it was drawn on with a marker lol n reflective dock is on lol, a hardware tester for apple wouldn’t be jailbreaking
um no not possible i tried :D (just for kicks) iTunes knows its not an iphone

Since when has apple put their camera in the middle??? All 4generations of iPhones have camera’s on the left. Even though the wifi finder is on the left, they would most likely put the camera on the right or move the wifi finder and put the camera on the left.

you can install reflective dock from cydia, but the camera hole isn’t very convincing.
you can tell it’s fake because why would an iPod have contacts and with it jailbroken you can make an iPhone look like an iPod
This is why these images are fake and will always be fake: The back is scuffed and scratched.
this is a FAKE, first of all, look at the back of the ipod, it’s more scratched than my 3 year old ipod video with no cover, second the camera part it’s way out of focus and looks like a decal, third, the ipod touch’s bottom icons DON’T reflect on the bottom, only the ipod touch with firmware 1.1.2 has it.
I don’t know who does this guy tries to fool. but i’m no buyind it.
obviously he has a jailbroken itouch and he just changed the icons and added the camera app in there as a shortcut. if that was a new itouch im sure the back of that thing would have like scratch protection like the new 3gs has …. that thing is so scratched up its not even funny

now guys give him credit he is a great magic marker atrist and also i know for a fact that once you get into the iphone jailbroken all that you have to do is copy the icon not even that whole app and it apears but when you try to open it nothing happens and apple would do a much better vidio then this as a first releas just youtube the publicity for the toutch 2g
this camera looks like it was drawn on with a magic marker but the scratches would be because of the durability tests everything else looks real and the new ipod touch cases have a hole cut out in the middle for the camera so that is going to be in the middle
also if the camera is real where is the mic?
