Well, maybe it&#039;s not quite as fancy but for $20 you can get a surprisingly high quality telescope of Galileo&#039;s design, plus some enhanced accessories.

Corners were cut to get the price down, but they were cut in the right places.  Jupiter&#039;s moons, Saturn&#039;s rings etc. are readily viewable with this.

(Note shipment *is* very slow, due to high demand and the fact that it&#039;s a volunteer organization distributing these.  It&#039;s well worth the wait though).

I bought six telescopes, one for me &amp; my wife, one for each of my kids, and three donated to the IYA2009 Donation Program.</description>
