text message while driving and put themselves and others at risk. While surfing the web, I noticed a Don’t Text and Drive Video. It’s a very strong video that really gets it’s point across. I don’t ever use my cell phone while driving, but this video sure does do a good job showing just how dangerous it can be.
Here is the Don’t Text and Drive video. It was produced by Gwent Police Department and intended to be shown to local schools in UK.

That ad was useless, ridiculously over-the-top.. might as well have had the teens driving into a Nuclear power plant and wiping out half of England! I was laughing all the way through, was that the point?
@hornykitten No, that’s not over the top, that is the reality of what actually happens when you’re involved in an RTC! I wish it was exaggerated, but this sort of thing is sadly all too common.
I hope you will never have to see this sort of occurrence for real, but don’t for one minute think this is unrealistic. You are insulting all the emergency services who have to face these scenes in real life and deal with the aftermath!

Really the idiots who are laughing at this are fcking morons….I had a friend who was killed by someone texting and driving….this isn’t a funny issue, yes it was a dramatization but it made it’s point clear as day…those idiots prolly laughed their ass thru drivers ed during the “don’t drink and drive” video….you idiots will prolly not heed this message and video and will end up the one on the stretcher with 5 accounts of vehicular manslaughter on your hands, good luck in prision…anyways

@Nymphilis its funny how everyone seems to have a friend who was directly involved with an issue when the topic’s on the table. Get over it! How do we know this supposed friend of yours wasn’t the texter? It’s just easier to laugh sometimes, but that doesn’t mean that they’re mocking the victims necessarily, but this is they’re way of coping with reality…much like creating a friend who was personally involved, in order to strengthen ones opinion. I could be wrong…

This isn’t really an ad, it’s “an half hour drama”. There’s many more parts to this video available from the director’s YouTube channel.
And I find this really, really good. It doesn’t exaggerate anything and it’s strong enough to really give out a message. Unlike some other ‘ads’ that just display the accident, this one goes in-depth with the families feelings and explains the situation.
Waiting for more parts to be uploaded. Must-watch.
That video was As graphic as anything. Really shows what can happen. Don’t do it especially with other drivers in the car you run a high risk for killing yourself or someone else. Imagine having this happen to you and having to face the guilt each and every day knowing that you killed an innocent person all over a text.

@ all who are laphing At this you are complet ignorants who have no self respect for yourself or anyone. I don’t have a freind or cousin to say they where involved in such thing. No sir I have myself, that went through if not something similar the exact same thing happen to to some teenage moron who couldent wait till the red light atleast to stop and write the god dam text he took the f*king light and hit me. Thanks to that I almost lost the use of my legs and was out for a good 2 days do to some head trauma. I thank god or whoever it is I have to thank everyday that I’m able to say I can live to tell this story anywhere I can. Don’t be ignorant and look at what the girls in this vedeo are going through just to say some dump s**t to someone. Think about it befor you smile and grin you laphing ideots and ones you understand I apologize. If not I feel sorry for you and anyone that’s sits with you in a car while you drive.
