i jailbreaked my iphone, but after i installed a new update, it was broken so i had to send it in. how can i avoid this ?

that’s a bug in windows.
not because your port is an 2.0 one, but because windows mistakes it for being a 1.0 port.
and it works like a 1.0 port.

best advice is to unplug, and replug.
it happens once in a while here, when i plug in whatever. :)=
