   Lars says: have got a problem, I downloaded the quickpwn 2.2, On the menu I press the blue arrow, but THEN, first of all, doesnt matter which version of quickpwn I use, the ipodtouch PICTURE doesnt show up, and when I press browse and use the 2.2 restore(if i use another one the same happens though) It says in red letters ”firmware error string” WHAT TO DO?

   i have the EXACT same problem as Lars, please help

   hi all, you people rock man…it really works great…
   i unlocked 1 iphone 3g 8 gb 2.2 and 1 iphone 16 gb 2.2…
   its really cool and works fine…

   i have downloaded quickpwn 2.2.1 for windows the second package and it downloads great but when i try to run the application my computer wont allow it it says theres some type of error. do u think u could help me?

    I tried to download and install the .net framework that QuickPWN links (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en) but when I try to install it says that it is not compatible with a previously installed version. Will I be alright to jailbreak my iPhone 3G 2.2 anyway?

    just look a little higher on the list once you get to the 2nd step. your firmware is there you might just be choosing the wrong one.

    if your running a 3g you should have 5g77 and there are 2 of them listed. choose the 1st one and you will be all good!

    when i tried to jailbreak my iphone 3g 2.2.1 i followed all instructions and it said it had installed succesfully and would reboot but it has been stuk in constant reboot with logo showing for several hours? i know how to restore iphone but how can i avoid this and jail break it properly? help. please email me any help u can

    Hello I Work With Apple And I Think If Things Are Happening To Peoples iPods That Causes It To Crash I Think It Would Not Be Safe To Use It ….. Unless The Programmers Come Up With A Way To Solve The Problem . May I Also Say It Is Illegal To Jailbreak ! FIX IT ! SORT IT ! NOW ! ! !

      It is not illegal at all. Its not agenst the law or anything. You bought it, the iPod is your property not Apples property. The only thing they own is the warrenty, so doing this would void the warranty, but it’s not agenst any written law.

      The only thing illegal is to download and play ROMS though. but thats it, but nobody cares about them really.
