   If you buy an iphone that has already been jailbreak/unlock. Will I need to download quickpwn and firmware on my computer to reinstall it? or will it work perfectly fine by just plugging it in with my itunes?

   My second question is how to go about customizing the background, icons, etc?

   My iPhone has iPhone1,1_2.2_5G77_Restore on it but when i select it for step 2 it says “firmware error string”

   What should I do now?

   can ne body help i have the iphone 3g 2.2 and i downloaded the QuickPWN 2.2 Jailbreak Download but it went fru the hole download but wen it started up agen afta reboot it stayed on the apple logo and wont do nething. wot do i do ??

   i have updated my firmware to 2.2.1 using itunes and im in trouble..can i update over it using quickpwn update 2.2. 1? hope a solution is found

   Hi there
   I’ve got a iPhone 3G Version 2.2.1 (5H11) with firmware 02.30.03 (not 02.28 anymore). Now I can’t jailbreak (with QuickPWN2.2) it anymore (Firmware error string). What happend?
   And now:
   a) can I go back to Version 2.2 / Firmware 02.28 ? If yes, how?
   b) do I have to wait till the great DevTeam releases a new QuickPWN? If yes, how long can it take?
   c) How can I set up iTunes, that this cannot happen a 2nd time?

   Does anyone know when QuickPwn 2.2.1 is coming out? Or… how do I get pwnage tool 2.2.1 so that it is on my computer and not in .torrent format. Plz, i need honest answers!

   Guys,unfortunatelly i also updated to 2.2.1. do not do anything until dev team releases a new quickpawn. it’s the only way we have to jailbreak our iphones. just wait.i can’t tell how long will it take but they will release it hopefully.we are awaiting news from them.

     let me know when there is an update for quickpwn . ive been trying for months to jailbreak my iphone 3g but i just recently figured out what i was doing wrong. i went ahead and updated before i tried jailbreaking it.

       I was haveing trouble finding my ipsw file on my laptop, as it was on my desktop comp (but my desktop wouldnt open quickpwn), so I updated my iPhone on my laptop so I could find the ipsw file, and now I get error string cause I now have 2.2.1! damb!

    When will the new Quickpwn for firmware 2.2.1 be announced? Unfornately I accidentally updated my iphone 3g to 2.2.1 and even tried downgrading to 2.2 but carrier will result being null. Now I have to wait till the new quickpwn to be out.

    Can not seem to download QuickPwn 2.2 to jailbreak by 3GiPhone. Want to user it’s modem to run by laptop. Anything someone can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

      But as Basic said, I also updated Firmware to 2.2.1. As he said we need to wait for new QuuickPWN software.

    i’ve tried using quickpwn to jailbreak my iphone but it doesn’t work!!!!!

    it gets stuck just after quickpwn puts my iphone in recovery mode

    what can i do????

    Because they haven’t yet released the versions for 2.2.1 yet, sure this will be in few weeks, reset your iPhone and wait

    I installed QuickPWN on my ipod touch with 2.2. The ipod now freezes on the apple logo when booting up and won’t do anything else. Please help.
