I’m using the late 2008 macbook pro, and tried jailbreaking my ipod touch 2.2. As with others who reported early, Quickpwn freezes. And as a few have suggested, perhaps the new macbooks are the reason why Quickpwn freezes at

Wow my wife and I bought the new 3g iphone today from AT&T and wanted to know if it's advised to jailbreak the phones while in contract?
I am also have the same No Signal problem as other people with my iPhone 2G running 2.2. Upgraded to the 2.2 firmware and then used Quickpwn. The phone is open, but there is no signal. What’s the deal?

It was because I have a new macbook aluminium. I did the same procedure on another machine… Everything worked fine! Thanks a lot for your great work.

I have an old ’07 MacBook and it’s also hanging during the ‘Quickpwn is about to to run on your iPhone 3G’.
I got everything installed and working just fine, but 1 dumb question: How do you delete apps installed by Installer? I can’t for the life of me find any way to do it…
TO ALL 1G IPOD TOUCH 2.2 USERS:
DOESN’T WORK!
It didn’t work, when it was installed and rebooted the only thing that showed was the apple symbol in the center.
At first i freaked out but i managed to repair it:
-Plug ipod into computer (usb), make sure itunes is running
-Hold power and home butten until apple symbol appears
-when apple symbol appears, relaese power butten, but keep on holding home button
-when the ipod shows and image of itunes and a usb cable, release the home button
-you now will get an repair screen for the ipod, choose last option, repair from saved point
-Just wait and be relieved: itunes if fixing your ipod to its state before this dumb-ass jailbreaking software ;)
Hope it helped and remember: THIS SOFTWARE DOES NOT WORK FOR IPOD 1G 2.2!
i see there are many people asking if quickpwn works for the second generation ipod touch and as far as i can tell it does not as i cannot get anywhere with it
I know quickpwn does not work for the 2nd gen ipod touch, but would someone plz make it work. It is getting ridiculous how it has been months now since its been out. I think stuff like 2nd gen jailbreak is more important than Linux on Ipods.
after i downloaded cydia i can not access the phone part of my iphone. Can’t get to keypad, voice mail, recents and favs. It opens for 5 seconds then closes. Any idea of how to fix this?
