Jailbreak iPod Touch 2.1 GUI version!
In my previous post I posted a jailbreak which required a lot of work. This jailbreak for iPod Touch 2.1 is completely GUI based. Just run the .exe after uncompressing the zip file and follow the on-screen instructions. It couldn’t get any simpler than this! :)

i am a novice and i was just wondering..say ur friends has a 1st gen itouch with and installer and apps is there a way to copy the apps to ur 2nd gen itouch????
where do i find the firmware bundle (IPSW) that i currently have on my ipod? :S

Every time i dl quickpwn my antivirus goes on tilt reporting a Trojan virus . any one else had this? any fixes or a place that has a clean copy?

Yo, Death, take a look at this page, scroll about half way down, it shows the differences bewteen the iPod Touch 1st Gen and 2nd Gen, it’s easy to work out.

are there any plans in the works to jailbreak the 2nd gen touch with 2.1.1 firmware been searching and have yet to find a solution.

of course you will have to. installing a new firmware rips off every single file of your ipod.
or you can leave music/picts/movies out and just use your new jailbroken ipod as a flashlight…
when i try to run the .exe it sez i need to install part of th .Net framework called “v2.0.50272″. what does this mean and how do i fix it?
