Jailbreak iPhone 2.1
Do you want to Jailbreak iPhone 2.1? Well, now you can! Unfortunately it’s not an easy process as it was with the iPod Touch which was completely GUI based. You will need to carefully follow the below instructions to jailbreak your iPhone 2.1. This tutorial also works for the iPhone 3G.
You must install iTunes 8 first, so if you don’t have iTunes 8 download or update to it right now.
If you’re using an iPhone, you must download iPhone 2.1 firmware using the below link:

If you’re using an iPhone 3G, download iPhone 3G 2.1 firmware using the below link:

1. Open iTunes 8, and update to iPhone firmware 2.1.
2. After you’re upgraded to firmware 2.1, uninstall iTunes 8.0, and install iTunes 7.7.* from the download link here:

3. Click –> Download the jailbreak from the downloads page <–, or use any of these mirrors if this link doesn’t work:
4. Run the .exe file and browse and select your iPhone 2.1 firmware.
5. Follow the on-screen steps, choose Installer and Cydia.
6. Once finished, your iPhone will reboot, but Installer and Cydia won’t be visible.
7. Reboot your iPhone, and Installer & Cydia should show up!

Hi! Does anybody know how to update their iphone 3G 2.1 firmware to the latest 2.2 without losing the apps from Installer and cydia? :)
well i say dont update when jailbreak for 2.2 is not that stabily it might not even work for you

Everytime i want to open the Quick Pwn Gui aplication a window pop up saying that the aplication failed i don’t know why, could someone tell me?
I have the 3G and I did every step. Now when I try and turn the phone back on all I get is a blank screen. No logo’s, nothing. Is it dead?

ok im having problems with the quickpwn. every time i plug in my ipod touch i go past everything until i get to ready to pwn then quickpwn just stays on “wait for your ipod to connect in Recovery mode ” nd it will not move on to the rest of the instructions i dont know what to do
can someone help me please, im getting stuck……..it works all fine. as soon as i have Qckpwn it gets stuck on the apple logo screen, with the lil spinning circles, and it goes in a loop of 5 mins.

after i unlock my iPhone (with 2.2 firmware)I install some cracked apps. but when i try to open those apps. on iPhone its showing “the application ….. cannot be opend”

i tried jailbreaking my iphone bu after running the QuickPWN-GUI and after it rebooted all it showed was a blank screen…so im begging you guys to tell me how to fix this…..

after the last step it says to reboot your iphone. How long is it suppose to take? Cause mine is just a gray screen. help!
how long is it suppose to stay at the grey screen until its done rebooting? Mine has taken a long time and still is like that.

I downloaded jailbreak and everything seemed to work. But, I can’t make phone calls. I click on the phone icon and it sits there for a few seconds and then goes back to my home screen. How do I fix this?
